Nature is my poet--
In silence and solitude nature is my poet My heart hears a beautiful language without words Whether walking or sitting the music flows Time and location cease to exist in this space Liminal and yet full All I can do is breathe slowly and let go Sweet surrender by Patrick Watters |

All the plants that surround us are not just a background for everyday life. Any plant, from a blade of grass to a tree, is capable of accumulating and storing information about the Universe around us. The energy of the plant is the power of life, constant growth, and healing. It is no coincidence that there are so many medicinal plants in the world, all aiding in multiple forms including touching, smelling and creating works of art with them.
«Let each resident of the big city obtain a little nut from resinous cedar cone, place it in his mouth and hold it there in his saliva. Let him plant it in a little pot of earth in his home and water the earth every day...» Ringing Cedars of Russia. «Space of Love»
Planting a Cedar Peace Tree:
Any interactions with the cedar must be conscious and full of love. Even before regular watering, you need to make sure that you are in a good mood and dip your fingers into the water, transferring your positive energy to it. When the seed sprouts, you can communicate with it, trusting it with your innermost thoughts and asking for help. You should not keep the Cedar locked up: when the weather is clear, you should leave it outdoors — for example, on a windowsill by an open window.
The time for planting in the soil begins when the sprout reaches about 30 centimeters. The right time for planting is early spring.

- From one cone, you can get 2-3 dozen nuts. You can try planting several at once to increase your chances of success. You can also try to grow some of the seeds at home, and some outdoors.
- If you are going to grow cedar in open ground outdoors, it is best to plant it in late autumn or early winter. So you create conditions as close as possible to natural ones: the seed falls into the ground in the autumn, spends the winter under the snow and rises in the spring.
- For growing in a pot at home, it is better to plant a cedar in March or April, when the daylight hours are already long enough.
- To help the seed to sprout, you can do scarification: before planting, rub one side of the nut with sandpaper so that the shell becomes slightly thinner. This method also helps to recreate the natural growth conditions of the tree.
- If you are planting several seeds, you can put them in one pot or different ones. Growing in one large pot does not hurt the seed in any way. When the sprouts grow up (after 2-3 years), they can be planted in a different pots or in the ground.
